On 11th of February we are flying out to Cape Town (providing Namibian Airways lives up to its sterling aeronautical reputation). We are spending about 10 days in South Africa, first in a hostel, then on the catamaran whilst we get her ready for the high ocean. We leave Cape Town with John Titterton at the helm around the 23rd of Feb. Our route takes us out into the Atlantic, to St Helena, Ascension Island, Cape Verde, the Canaries, through the Straits of Gibralta and finishing in Mallorca in mid April. We will obviously be hugely tired by this point so we have allowed ourselves over a week to recuperate in Mallorca, soaking up the rays etc....it's a hard life!
